If you know about these two numbers, looking for espresso coffee maker would not be so complicated

Face it, if you are into gourmet coffee, and you are searching for a good Espresso Coffee Machines, it can be pretty frustrating. There are dozens of brands and hundreds of models for you to choose, so which one is good when every models tout themselves as the best!

And, that is the reason, why I highlighted that all you need to do is to know that for all your espresso maker searches, there are only two numbers to take note of, the number 2 and 5. The link above provides more complimentary information to this article.

Out of so many Espresso Maker types, makes and models, there are only 2 categories and 5 main segment. No matter how you look for Espresso Maker, there can only be those that runs on electricity and those that do not run on electricity.

Let’s talk about the ones that do not run on electricity ones first. Here, you would find 2 segments of Espresso Maker , the Moka pots and the neapolitan filter brewer. Both are stove type Espresso Maker, they do make great coffee, but for espresso wise, their lower pressure might lead to lighter flavor compared to the electrical ones.

Then the next category of espresso coffee machines contain the other 3 segments, that is the pump, piston and steam powered Espresso Coffee Machines. The piston are not popular due to the dependency on arm power, but it is a very classic and romantic way of making espresso.

The pump driven Espresso Maker is what most of us are familiar with. Those automatic, semi-automatic and super automatic Espresso Maker. They are popular because of comprehensive features and its more than sufficient pressure that ensures a good espresso.

Steam powered Espresso Maker is lower in cost then the pump driven ones, but they are not as popular due to the lower pressure that can only be delivered by the steam machinery.

That it is folks, it is not as complicated right? Sure, this is my own appreciation of Espresso Coffee Machines but no matter how you search, you cannot go out of my classification. Hope this helps, for more information, simply click on the links provided…
