My Dog Ate My Phone Holder And Phone Case

Thursday, June 26th, 2008

I just gave my cell phone case to my mean dog to chew to pieces because I’m sick of him chewing on everything else . My shoes, my jacket, my armchair, the TV remote control. I have even caught him gnawing his teeth into my refrigerator before, it was a funny sight to behold . I have no clue why he does this or what causes him to do it . I always assumed, as he grew older that he would grow out of this kind of thing. I tried disciplining him, but he never caught on. I grabbed him as if his mother would grab him when he was bad, by the back of the neck, but that didn’t stop him from chewing on my $150 pair of Steve Maddens . I am at a loss now, I have no clue how to punish him . Other than that, he’s a really good dog. He’s sweet and friendly. When I walk him through the park, he always runs off to go play with any children he finds. He never snarls, snaps, or even tries to bite anyone. I can let him go without his collar and leash and he always comes right back to me. It’s only this whole chewing thing that I have a problem with. Should I send him to some obedience school? Be stricter? I have no clue . I’ve heard there are pet therapists that have sessions with dogs and cats and such. Maybe I should look him up.

Taking On The Virtue Of Sidewalk Cleaning And Pressure Wash Illinois Colorado

Saturday, June 21st, 2008

My entire family has done some sort of blue collar job from plumbing to painting to Residential Deck Sealing. The field of plumbing, electrician, and cleaning has been running through my families blood for decades, as far back as anyone can remember . They thought that when I eventually grew up that I’d work in a mill or something. I don’t know how to use tools or anything. I’m not handy. I am scared for myself with a pair of pliers, I can’t even imagine if someone handed me a saw and told me to get to work, I would for sure hurt myself or someone else . It would not be safe for me to be in those fields, that is how people die . It all starts with that sort of carelessness. Unfortunately I did not understand that I would be expected to take this position when I grow up or I might have put a little effort into learning what it was all about and attempting to acquaint myself with the world of tools and power drills and saws . The son takes up the father’s job and his son does the same and so does his son and so on and on and on. I didn’t realize that was the reason there was so much pressure on me to take up a trade or why so many family friends assumed I just would. No one ever really knew what to do with me back then. I suppose I can’t blame them. My family was used to the way things have always been so I guess I caught them off guard when I wasn’t exactly like them, actually I was the farthest thing from being like them .

The Task Of Finding My Phone Case And Cell Case Has Proven Daunting

Friday, June 20th, 2008

I lost my phone case in the most inopportune time the other day . Not only did I lose my IPod Case, but what was in my IPod Case, which was my cell phone . I scoured my entire apartment and the office where I work, but I couldn’t find it anywhere. After three days I broke down and bought a new cell phone and Phone Holder . After the long, tedious time I spent at the store filling out paperwork, I then had to go and get everyone’s phone number that was on my old phone. Some of the people I hadn’t talked to in a while so I had no clue how to get their numbers . Sometimes, I would just take someone’s phone number just to. I’m not quite sure why I took those numbers, but I obviously didn’t stay very close to them because I can’t even remember half their names . Now I have to get back all the numbers I really want to have. These people include my family, friends from high school and college, and a few girls, including a few ex-girlfriends that I still call every now and then late at night . Then there’s a host of other girls I have awkward somewhat romantic entanglements with. There is a long list of people that I need to get numbers from, and I know that I am for sure forgetting quite a few . But that’s half my list of contacts gone. I feel so unimportant and unwanted right now. I know that my phone book will eventually fill up again but I hate knowing that those numbers are gone forever, including a chance to actually talk to some of those people I randomly got numbers from . I’m sure everything will work out fine and that my list will be full soon, but it will take time and I am not a very patient person .

Ballroom Dancing

Wednesday, June 18th, 2008

While historically ballroom dance may refer to any form of formal social dancing as recreation, with the eminence of dance sport in modern times the term has become much narrower in scope, usually referring specifically to the International Standard and International Latin style dances (see dance categories below). In the United States, two additional variations: “American Smooth” and “American Rhythm” have also been popularized and are commonly recognized as styles of “ballroom dance”.

In the early 20th century, the on-screen dance pairing of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers greatly influenced ballroom dancing in the USA. Although both actors had separate projects and careers, they are associated for their filmed dance sequences together, which included portrayals of early 20th century dancers Vernon and Irene Castle and have reached iconic status.

If you have never danced before, beginner ballroom dance classes will teach you some of the basic steps in the most popular dances, like the Foxtrot, Waltz, Swing and Salsa. You will gain confidence and feel comfortable on the dance floor at social occasions. Perhaps there is a dance you have always wanted to learn like the passionate Tango or the seductive Rumba.

The advantage of learning different styles of ballroom dance is that you can pick the one that suits your mood. Each dance has a character to it: Cha-cha is playful, Rumba is sensual, Tango is passionate, and the Viennese Waltz is elegant. Because most music uses the same basic structures, you can use your dancing skills for more than just weddings. If you go to a club and there’s techno music you can dance a Samba if it’s in two or a Cha-cha if it’s in four.

As a rule ballroom dancers don’t say no when you ask them to dance. And remember: ballroom etiquette precludes dancing more than two dances in a row with the same person. It is especially crude and disrespectful to exploit the physical closeness of ballroom dancing in any way that would cause your partner discomfort. Even when the dance partners are a long term loving couple, ballroom dance requires a certain savoir faire, a style that is based on both dancers utilizing good posture, maintaining careful balance, and attending to the music and to the other dancers on the floor.
